Steve originally trained as a mechanic in a German owned and run Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz dealership. Steve's experience now spans more than 40 years in the automotive industry.

Motor sport has played a big part in Steve's engineering development, having gained a great deal of working knowledge about Volkswagens in competition including off-road, rallying, speedway, recreation and restoration show cars. Steve was involved in the early off road scene and owned and raced a kelpie buggie for many years successfully competing in a lot of QLD competition.

As with all forms of motor sport and automotive there is always something new to learn. Steve's knowledge is extensive and he currently owns and drives a 91 T3 transported Kombi with a south African ford V6 Conversion fitted and used as a daily commuter.

Steve's family have owned and driven VW's including superbugs, kombis, Manx, type 3's, golf's, passats and country buggies. So if you had doubts about the knowledge of the business group you're about to buy from, rest assured that we know our German very well!.
